The idea behind this collection was born from my countless hours spent scrolling through the vast expanse of the internet, stumbling upon breathtaking interior and exterior spaces. There’s something incredibly satisfying about discovering areas that exude a sense of peace and comfort, a true sanctuary away from the chaos of the world. I envisioned this series as a digital version of a relaxing Sunday walk. Just like strolling down a quaint, cobblestone street, meandering through a serene garden, or getting a rare peek inside a charming neighborhood home during an open house, I want these posts to offer you a moment of calm and inspiration.
Let’s start our journey with @cottagerenovationcwmrhys. Their mudroom is a testament to the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern convenience. The weathered wooden beams overhead create a cozy, cabin – like atmosphere, while the sleek, built – in storage units provide ample space for all those outdoor essentials. A row of hooks adorned with colorful scarves and jackets adds a pop of personality, and a vintage – inspired bench with a plush cushion invites you to sit down and take a moment to unwind before heading further into the home.
Next up is @little.byrd.house. This mudroom is a small but mighty space that packs a big punch. The walls are painted in a soft, pastel shade that instantly brightens the area. A cleverly designed wall – mounted shelf holds an array of potted plants, bringing a touch of nature indoors. Last but not least, I want to share our very own tiny mudroom makeover. What was once a neglected corner has been transformed into a multi – functional space that serves as a pantry and a dog feeding station. We maximized every inch of space with custom – built shelves and cabinets, providing plenty of room for storing groceries and pet supplies. A dedicated area for our furry friend’s food and water bowls makes feeding time a breeze. The addition of some charming decor elements, like a string of fairy lights and a few framed photos, has turned this small space into a delightful entryway that we love coming home to.
